1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
6 oz high-quality dark chocolate, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs, room temperature
1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped (for ganache)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325F and line an 8×8 pan with parchment.
Combine melted butter and 6oz chocolate; stir in sugar.
Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
Fold in sifted cocoa powder and flour until just combined.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick has moist crumbs.
Cool completely, then pour hot cream over 4oz chopped chocolate.
Whisk ganache and spread over brownies; chill for 2 hours.
