- 3 Granny Smith apples, diced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1.5 quarts vanilla bean ice cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Sauté diced apples with 2 tbsp butter, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon until tender.
- Combine flour, 1/2 cup cold butter, and 1/2 cup brown sugar into a crumble.
- Bake crumble at 350°F for 15 minutes; cool completely.
- Press half of the crumble into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Fold some sautéed apples into softened ice cream and spread over the crust.
- Top with remaining apples and the rest of the crumble.
- Freeze for at least 6 hours before serving.
