  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth. Mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan and drizzle with caramel sauce. Add remaining batter on top and create swirls with a knife.
