Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, and melted butter until smooth. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just mixed.

  4. Drop dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart; flatten slightly and add a dollop of cream cheese filling to each cookie.
