  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 medium jalapeno peppers, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced (white and green parts)
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Wash the cranberries, removing any stems or bad berries. Place them in a saucepan.
  2. Add honey to the saucepan with cranberries and cook over medium heat until they begin to burst (about 5 minutes). Stir occasionally.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth using an electric mixer.
  4. Stir in the cooked cranberries (and juices), chopped jalapenos, and green onions until well combined.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least one hour to meld flavors.
  6. Garnish with additional green onions if desired before serving with crackers or fresh veggies.
