  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (or cheddar)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  4. On half of each pastry sheet, layer slices of ham and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal edges by pressing down; crimp with a fork if desired.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
