Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 1 large bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Begin by cutting the paneer into bite-sized cubes and slicing the bell pepper and onion into thick strips. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, chili sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and cornstarch until smooth. Add paneer cubes and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sauté onions until translucent, then add bell peppers and cook for 3 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. In another pan, heat oil and fry marinated paneer until golden brown on all sides (about 5 minutes). Combine fried paneer with sautéed vegetables in one pan.
  5. Add any remaining marinade to the pan and stir well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld flavors. Serve hot!
