Ingredients
Scale
1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
12 oz penne pasta
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1.5 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook penne until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain most of the excess fat.
Reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer for 2 minutes.
Lower heat and stir in cheddar and parmesan cheeses until completely melted and smooth.
Add cooked penne to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.
Season with salt and pepper, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
